north_van_school_districtPower has been restored at three additional schools. The following schools will re-open at 12:30 p.m.: Carisbrooke, Highlands and Mountainside. One school remains without power and another school's fire alarm system has not been restored. As a result, the following two schools will be CLOSED for the remainder of today: Braemar and Dorothy Lynas. Power is expected to be restored later today with these two schools re-opening tomorrow.

School will re-open at 11:00 a.m. for the following schools: Canyon Heights, Carson Graham, Cleveland, Handsworth, Larson, Montroyal and Westview. The Education Services Centre also has power and will re-open to the public at 11:00 a.m. Five schools are still without power. The following schools will have a DELAYED start of 12:30 p.m.: Braemar, Carisbrooke, Dorothy Lynas, Highlands and Mountainside. If power cannot be restored at a school by 12:30 p.m., we will advise parents/guardians by 12:00 p.m. that school will be closed for the day. Please check the school district website for updates.
