The North Vancouver School District is committed to supporting the diverse needs of all students. Inclusivity creates vibrant school communities where all students have a strong sense of belonging and receive the supports they need to succeed.
Indigenous education in the North Vancouver School District is universal – it is for all students, staff, parents, and community. As a result of this universal approach, success for all students is spurred. Awareness of Indigenous history, culture, ways of knowing and modern contributions to society has greatly increased.
The North Vancouver School District is committed to sustainability and actively embeds sustainability initiatives within all areas of the organization, including student learning. We have a strong Sustainability Strategy and have goals targeted at sustainability within our 10-Year Strategic Plan and 3-Year Operating Plan.
