​Halloween is a day when many people dress up in costumes, carve pumpkins into Jack-o-lanterns, and younger children go out trick-or-treating to receive candy. It is observed annually on October 31.

Indigenous Disability Awareness Month was created to raise awareness, recognize, and celebrate the achievements of Indigenous peoples who live with disabilities. It was first established in 2015 and is recognized annually in British Columbia in November.
