Pre-law legal conference for grades 7-12!

April 26th from 9am-5pm at the UBC Allard School of Law. This FREE event will include Q&A sessions with law school admission officers and students, insights from experienced lawyers leading interactive case study activities, and information from community organizations with volunteer opportunities and legal resources for youth. This event is perfect for a student who is interested in pursuing law in their post-secondary career! Registration required!

Community Leadership Opportunity

Youth Connect is a free, three-hour interactive workshop for students ages 8–12, held April 7, 2026, at Maplewood Fire & Rescue Centre. Youth build confidence, communication, and teamwork skills through hands-on activities with RCMP officers and firefighters, including a station tour and service dog demonstration. Open to 20 students. Please see school administer for poster or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact:

Dream It, Be It Career Support for Girls is a fun and inspiring one-day experience for Grade 8 & 9 girls who are at the beginning of their career path exploration. The girls will explore their interests, discover their strengths, build confidence, and imagine their future. The program will be very interactive and hands-on, featuring an inspirational speaker, fun and insightful activities, shared meals (lunch and snacks provided), swag bags, and an opportunity to connect with their peers from other schools.
Details: 8:45AM-3PM May 21, 2026, Lynn Valley Community Room. The event is free, but registration is mandatory and spaces are limited. Open to girls in North and West Vancouver in Grades 8 and 9. Parental consent is required. See here for more information: Registration Link
