  • ​Electrical workers plan, assemble, install, test, repair and maintain electrical equipment in commercial, residential, industrial and marine facilities. 
  • Ensures that all electrical connections are safe and meet the standards set by the electrical code. 

​What do I need to start?  

  • ​Entering Grade 11 or Grade 12  
  • Good employability skills  
  • A willingness to learn  
  • Strong interest in entering industry  
  • Mechanical aptitude is an asset  
  • Recommended:  English 12, Math 11, Physics 11/12 

​What are the benefits?

  • Up to 16 credits towards graduation

  • Apprenticeship Technical Training Electrical Foundation Level  1

​When and where is the program offered?  

  • ​24 weeks, full-time at BCIT (Burnaby Campus ) 
  • Multiple intakes
