A day in the life of an RCMP officer...
What is it?
An interactive full day workshop in which participants learn about the many career pathways in law enforcement and emergency services. From dispatch and forensics to canine units and making an arrest, this interactive experience will be something not to forget! Students will engage in activities and that highlight the importance of teamwork and communication skills as they role play scenario's based off real RCMP experiences. Limited to 20 seats with priority going to grade 12's. Students must demonstrate a mature attitude and be keen to explore careers in this field. Active participation is mandatory.
*Warning – there may be content that some participants may find disturbing such as images and shared experiences by officers.
Who is eligible?
- Open to students in both West and North Vancouver School Districts
- Grades 10 – 12 with an interest in Law Enforcement.
