​Dream It, Be It Career Support for Girls is a fun and inspiring one-day experience for Grade 8 & 9 girls who are at the beginning of their career path exploration. The girls will explore their interests, discover their strengths, build confidence, and imagine their future. The program will be very interactive and hands-on, featuring an inspirational speaker, fun and insightful activities, shared meals (lunch and snacks provided), swag bags, and an opportunity to connect with their peers from other schools.

Details: 8:45AM-3PM May 21, 2026, Lynn Valley Community Room. The event is free, but registration is mandatory and spaces are limited. Open to girls in North and West Vancouver in Grades 8 and 9. Parental consent is required. See here for more information: Registration Link​

Capilano University is pleased to invite parents, families, and supporters to our upcoming Parent & Family Orientation. Attendees will gain an overview of academic expectations, student services, important timelines, and ways they can support their student’s transition to university. Registration Link​

​Black and Indigenous students with more information about becoming a doctor, the pathway to applying to medical school, and attendees will take part in fun, hands-on simulations to see what it’s like to be a doctor! Workshop presentations will be given by Indigenous physicians, medical students, and university staff and faculty members.​ Apply by June 11 Application Link: 

​Many health care disciplines will be represented at this fair via booths where students can ask questions and be able to practice some hands on skills.  In addition to the disciplines, there will be several post secondary institutions available to provide program and processes.​
