The North Vancouver RCMP's Youth Support Team (YST) is made up of dedicated officers assigned to 48 schools and supporting over 20,000 youth across the City and District of North Vancouver. The YST works closely with schools, students, and families throughout the school year with the goal of building positive, trusting relationships with youth while offering support on topics such as substance use, online safety, harassment, driving, and other safety or criminal concerns.

The YST takes a supportive, community-focused approach—showing up not just when something goes wrong, but as consistent, approachable adults students can feel comfortable talking to. You’ll often see us in schools, at events, and out in the community, building connections and supporting students in making safe, positive choices.

The YST also works alongside a network of partner agencies that focus on youth wellness. Together, they believe in the idea that it takes a village to support young people—and are proud to be part of that village.

If you’d like to connect with the North Vancouver RCMP's Youth Support Team, ask questions, or need support, please reach out by telephone to 604 985-1311.
