Below you will find answers to our most frequently asked questions regarding employment with the North Vancouver School District.
A: The only way to apply for positions at North Vancouver School District is through Make a Future, our applicant tracking system. We do not accept resumes by fax, email or in person.
A: There are three job categories:
A: You will need to apply to each position you are interested in and qualified for separately; however, you do not need to re-create your profile each time on Make a Future if you are applying for jobs within the same job category.
A: If you are applying for positions in a different job category, you will have to create a new portfolio for each different category. For instance, if you are a Unionized Supervision Aide and would like apply for an Exempt position in Finance, you will need to create two separate portfolios.
A: If you have already set-up profiles with other school districts, you can link that profile without having to create a new profile from scratch. In the login page, on the far right hand side, you can click on the button labelled āLINK ACCOUNT.ā
A: Please include the following documents and information with your application:
A: The North Vancouver School District welcomes and encourages applications from all qualified individuals including women, members of visible minority groups, Indigenous persons and persons with disabilities. In order to work for us, you need to be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship.
A: You will know you have successfully applied once you receive a confirmation number via email from Make a Future.
A: You cannot view the status of an application through Make a Future. If the North Vancouver School District is moving forward with your application, you will receive an email from either recruiting@sd44.ca, or ntrecruiting@sd44.ca.
A: You are able to go in to your Make a Future profile and update your profile at any time including uploading a new resume.
A: We keep all applications on file for 12 months.
