North Vancouver School District
the natural place to learn©

Cove Cliff.DoubleExposurePhoto-9048.jpgEach year, we look forward to welcoming our littlest learners and their families to the North Vancouver School District.

As you help your child prepare to begin a new journey with us -- an adventure that includes learning, sharing and growing among a caring community of students, staff, families and community partners -- know that we are here to support you too … because kindergarten is a big step for everyone!

We encourage you to use the resources below, many of which we have curated especially for young families, to help you and your child successfully transition to kindergarten.

We look forward to meeting you all very soon.

Kindergarten Orientation Presentation Video

Dates in the video below reflect the 2021-2022 school year.

An updated video will be ready for viewing the evening of October 20, 2021.

In an abundance of caution, we will not be hosting an in-person Kindergarten Orientation event this year. Rather, we have decided to provide an informative video presentation for all families of children born in 2017, who want to learn more about Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year. Our presentation includes information on kindergarten curriculum, registration, and tips to help your child get ready for the exciting learning journey ahead. Please check back to this page on or after October 20, 2021.
