​March is Volunteer Spring Clean-Up month at Cheakamus Centre.  This is a great outdoor volunteer opportunity for high school students (Grade 10-12), staff, parents, and nature lovers. 

Jobs include trail maintenance, garden bed cleanup, raking, landscaping and farm chores.  No prior experience is necessary.  Friendly Cheakamus Centre maintenance staff will teach you what you need to know.  No power tools will be used.

Date: Saturday - March 12, 19, and 26th (choose one or join us for all 3!)

Time: 9am - 2pm and a scrumptious lunch and healthy snacks are included!

How to sign up:  To allow us to plan for the work parties, we ask that you please pre-register as soon as possible

What to bring:  You will be working outside rain or shine so dress for the weather with waterproof footwear.  Bring a day pack to carry extra clothes, rain gear, hat and gloves, and a refillable water bottle. 

Come as a group or come alone and meet new friends. We encourage carpooling so if you can take a passenger or need a ride, let us know.
