North Vancouver Online Learning (NVOL) is pleased to begin work as a Provincial Online Learning School (POLS).

The new online learning model is part of the Ministry of Education and Child Care’s work to improve equity of access to inclusive and effective online learning communities that are culturally relevant for all students in the province.

Students across the province can enrol in high-quality online learning programming at NVOL in English and French. All courses will now be delivered through the D2L Brightspace Learning Management System, which provides an improved user experience. Students who are currently completing courses in Moodle will continue to do so.

“NVOL’s mission is to provide students with flexible, innovative and personalized pathways to graduation through interactive and engaging online experiences,” said Jennifer Tieche, Vice Principal, North Vancouver Online Learning. “Staff are committed to student success by aligning online learning experiences with students’ goals and priorities.”

Students and families across the province interested in learning more about anywhere, anytime and on any device learning experiences through NVOL are invited to visit the North Vancouver Online Learning website.
