Red Shirt Day, observed annually on the Wednesday during National AccessAbility Week, is a day when people wear red to show their support for people and families of those who are living with disabilities, celebrate the achievements of disabled Canadians, and pledge their commitment to help create a fully accessible and inclusive society. It was started in 2019 as an Easter Seals initiative.
