| By Myriam Dumont, Vice-Principal, École Cleveland In recognition of the autumnal equinox and the spirit of harvest, one of Cleveland Elementary’s Grade 6/7 classes led a meaningful initiative to promote community engagement and healthy living. Families were invited to contribute surplus fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers from their home gardens.
On September 17th, students organized a vibrant market where they traded and sold the donated produce and floral arrangements. Remaining items were generously donated to the Harvest Project.

This initiative not only fostered a culture of sharing and sustainability but also encouraged healthy eating and helped reduce our collective carbon footprint. We are proud of our students for their leadership and commitment to making a positive impact in the Cleveland community.
