- It's what a teacher will read about you, as you cross the stage in your cap & gown at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre to receive your diploma.

Graduation Ceremony
Grads are asked to please arrive at Queen Elizabeth Theatre by 6:15 pm. Each student's grad gown will serve as their entry ticket. All others attending the ceremony will need to purchase tickets for the ceremony in advance using School Cash Online. Tickets are $10 each and will not be available to purchase at the door. There are no limits on the number of tickets that you wish to purchase, and reserved seating is not available.
Graduation Ceremony Rehearsal & Breakfast
Wednesday, June 5th, 7:30 am in the Handsworth Grand Commons. To prepare for the ceremony, graduates are required to attend a rehearsal scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, June 5th. As part of the morning event, a Grad Breakfast will also be hosted by the Grad Parent Committee. Graduates, please be at the school by 7:30 am for breakfast, followed by a rehearsal that will end at 9:10 am. Staff will distribute Grad gowns (with stole and cap) during this event. Gowns have been custom ordered for each student and are theirs to keep. To avoid a delay in receiving grad gown, please ensure that your School Cash Online payments are up to date.
Grad Gown Order Form:
Grads: EVERYONE must complete this FORM. This form will confirm whether or not you need a gown. The deadline to complete this is January 31, 2024 but if you simply do it now, it's over and done with. It takes less than a minute to complete.
Valedictorian
Grade 12 Valedictorian Applications
Grade 12s interested in applying to be this year's valedictorian can access the application form on the MS Teams Grad 2024 Team page. Completed applications are due by Friday, April 26th at 3:00pm and should be handed in directly to Mr. Hungle. We will contact those students who meet the criteria and have completed a thorough and thoughtful application to audition in front of a committee of staff and students.
