Grade 8 Retreat 2025-2026
The 2025-2026 Grade 8 Retreat is planned for Wednesday, September 25 and 26, 2025.
Location: Cheakamus Centre
Our goals of the retreat include:
- Contribute to a strong sense of belonging to the school community through shared experiences with peers,
student leaders, and Handsworth Staff.
- Build connections with peers and our student leaders to support the transition to high school.
- Set the tone for a positive and inclusive start to students’ secondary school journey.
- Connect Grade 8 students with experiential and land-based learning at Cheakamus.
