Ahoy All! The Grade 10 SALTS Tall Ship sailing trip has become a tradition here at Handsworth and next year we will be celebrating our 21st voyage. SALTS has confirmed that they will again sail from Victoria to North Vancouver! If your child is going into Grade 10 in September 2019 and are interested, please carefully follow the directions on the SALTS Tall Ship 2020 information sheet. We only have spots for 25 boys and 25 girls. An initial deposit of $400 will secure your spot, deposits will be accepted beginning Monday, July 15, 2019 through your student's Cash On-Line Account. Ahoy All!
Tall ship sailing with SALTS has become a tradition at Handsworth and this year we celebrated our 20th voyage. Over one thousand Handsworth graduates, current students, and alumni have been incredibly fortunate to have participated in this unique and amazing experience!
On this anniversary SALTS cast sail from Victoria and finished the trip in North Vancouver at the LONSDALE QUAY! This is a first for SALTS to have changed an arrival destination for any High School, and it is a very exciting addition to this inspirational and environmentally educational voyage.
