​Last summer, one of our current Gr. 12 Handsworth students Andrew W. was chosen as one of the top 4 BC youth poets to join the Vancouver Youth Poetry Slam team to compete in Canada's National YouthCan Festival. The team travelled to Ottawa last August and they placed FIRST in Canada!! Andrew has the gift to get people to think about serious social justice issues and to be moved with his powerful spoken words. Congratulations Andrew!!
