Shirts to Donate
In
quarter two, the Senior Textiles class will be completing a project of sewing
quilts to be donated to the North Shore Crisis Services Society. The quilts
will be given to youths to keep who are in a transition house. Our class is
asking for donations of cotton shirts (not T-shirts) that we can cut up and use
for the quilts. Ideally these shirts should be close to 100% cotton with no
stretch in them. Button down, flannel or dress shirts work really well. All
sizes and colours are welcome to be donated. There will be a laundry basket
placed outside of the library labeled "Shirts for Senior
Textiles” for students to drop them off.
Thank you for your donations!
