Windsor Super readers

We have all noticed the wintery grey weather, but one way to brighten the day is to read a great book!

Why not check out some of the fantastic fantasy novels available in the Windsor Library and be whisked away on an

imaginative journey.

Also at the library is the list of Windsor SUPER READERS.

This list includes the top 25 patrons of the library for the first quarter.

Congratulations to these amazing students!

12 Days of Christmas

This Year in lieu of Santa's Breakfast,

Student council is hosting the 12 days of Christmas.

 Bring non perishable food donations to the 211-foyer area at lunch or before school from December 3-18th

to be entered into the draw.

Bring one can for one ticket or 2 cans  for three tickets.

With great prizes including gift cards to Tim Hortons, Subway, Star bucks, and more, it would be a shame not to enter!

Boys Basketball

Any boy in grade 10 to 12 interested in playing basketball this yar must come to a meeting today at 12 today

Monday November 30 in the large gym.

See Mr. Fong if you are unable to attend.

The Grinch Grind

Would you like to get active over the holidays?

The Grinch Grind is a month long fitness challenge from December 1st to the 31st designed by grade 12 students

Kamryn and Ireland. Those who accumulate the most hours of activity will win prizes donated by local businesses.

All proceeds go to the Vancouver General Hospital COVID relief fund.

If you are interested in signing up, go check out the posters above the water fountains or

TVs around the school and scan the QR code.  Feel free to ask questions or dm them on instragram @grinch_grind

Windsor STEM and Coding Club

Hey Windsor, do you have a passion for STEM?
Windsor Secondary is launching their very own STEM and Coding Club and are looking for
new members to join.
What is STEM you might ask? STEM is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering,
and Mathematics.
From researching medicine to taking on hands on engineering projects to
learning computer programming;this club is open to anyone who wants to
learn more about STEM fields.
Coding will start this Thursday at noon in room 211
and STEM will be held Fridays at lunch in room 510
To register, simply scan the QR code on any of the posters around the school
or go to the bulletin board outside room 510 or 211 for more details.
Earn service hours doing something you enjoy and prepare yourself for your future.
