FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

The Functional Skills program at Carson Graham is designed for students who have an Individualized Education Plan and who require a modified program to meet their learning needs.  This program is available on a referral basis by the learning services department.  In consultation with parents, counsellors, and the learning support teacher(s), students will follow a timeline based on their academic requirements, communication skills, life and social skills requirements, as well as vocational training required.

As teachers of these classes, we are continually evolving programs as we strive to meet the individual needs of the students.  We value inclusion and we model and implement inclusionary practices in all school environments.
