Youth Outreach Workers

Capilano Community Services Society Youth Outreach Workers provide one-to-one support to students between 12-24. They provide support in a number of areas such as family and peer relationship challenges, job applications, trouble at home or school, sexual health information, anger management, drug and alcohol use, self-esteem, and much more. Youth Outreach Workers can meet youth one-on-one during school hours or after school to provide support in a safe and confidential way. Youth Workers can also make appropriate referrals to other fitting community agencies and services. The Youth Workers have organized a lunch program, providing a safe space for all grades to come to meet new peers, take part in engaging conversations, and play games. The Youth workers will also provide something to eat while attending the lunch program. The lunch program will begin in the near future and will follow all provincial health protocols. All three Youth Workers are also available by text, call, or Instagram.
