Cross-Country Meet

A few final reminders below, course map attached, and a call for volunteers.

Slight modification to start times below.
If your school has 1-3 extra parent / caregiver or teacher volunteers available between 3:30 and 4:15pm, please, let us know so we can put them on the course for safety and cheering. Thank you!
Depending on numbers we MAY combine the Grade 4 and 5 groups into one heat to make the meet more efficient. Please, make sure ALL RUNNERS are on site by 3:30 (traffic-permitting!)

TIMELINE - THURSDAY, SEPT. 28th

3:15pm - check in with coaches on the EAST side of the field (above basketball courts)

3:20pm - warm-up (run the course!)

3:30pm - marshal along south fence

3:35pm - Grade 4 runners (1200m; 2 loops)

3:45pm - Grade 5 runners (1200m; 2 loops)

3:55pm - Grade 6+7 runners (1800m; 3 loops)

Dress for the weather. Forecast is WET.
Bring layers and warm clothes for BEFORE and AFTER you run.
Mittens are a good idea, too!
Please, stay and cheer on your teammates after you run.
We will also need help cleaning up all the equipment after the run (the more hands the faster it goes!)
