The Upper Lynn library has many books to help our readers get into the Hallowe'en spirit! Currently, all our readers can check out a variety of Hallowe'en picture books. For our braver students, we have a collection of Spooky books (like Haunted Canada) binned in our Non-Fiction section. Our Graphic Novel lovers also have a variety of books to choose from including Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Truth or Dare, and Haunted Canada: The Graphic Novels. Our early chapter book readers can get into the spooky mood with our collection of Goosebumps novels. Our more advanced readers can have some weird and creepy Hallowe'en fun by choosing one of the Weenies anthologies, found in our Fiction section. Grade 6 and 7 students can chill their blood by reading the Cirque Du Freak series located in the Young Adult section… if they dare! To keep Hallowe'en fun, remind your readers to choose their books based on their own tolerance for scary; too scary is no fun for anyone!
