Starting September 2026, ignite your culinary future with VCC's Professional Cook 1 Program at Carson Graham Secondary! Develop real-world skills in cooking, baking, butchery, and kitchen operations while earning 30 VCC credits, 20 high-school credits, and Level 1 Red Seal Certification. Students with an interest in visual arts, music, music therapy, dance, fashion design, architecture, gallery curation, jewelry making, animation, special effects, or acting are encouraged to attend.
Engage with local businesses and cultural icons like the Vancouver Opera, Inuit Gallery of Vancouver, Opus Art Supplies, and Presentation House Theatre.
Explore post secondary opportunities with representatives from La Salle College, Capilano University, SFU's School for the Contemporary Arts, KPU’s Wilson School of Design, BCIT Architecture and Design, Vancouver Film School, Langara College, Vancouver Community College and Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

The Elementary Band & Strings Program is a unique instrumental music program that is distinctive to the NVSD. The program complements the BC Ministry of Education’s Arts Education curriculum and provides school-based instrumental instruction to students in the intermediate grades (Grades 5 – 7 for Band and Grades 4 – 7 for Strings).More information is available on the Band and Strings web page.
