DMA and DMA Lite Applications

Applications for both DMA and DMA LITE are now being accepted till Saturday, February 28th. DMA Lite is for students in Grades 9 & 10 and DMA FULL is for students in Grades 11 & 12. A one-day community singing event

Open to singers of all levels and experience
Sat. March 7, 2026 – Argyle Secondary

11:30am – Singing Workshop w/ Dr. Hussein Janmohamed ($35)

3:30pm – Public Concert ($25) featuring:
Mom Choir, MixChoir, Espiritu Vocal Ensemble,
Harmony Mountain Singers & Argyle Choirs

All proceeds support the Argyle Music Bursary Program.
Yearbook Order Deadline

The deadline to order a yearbook is Friday, January 30th. You can place your order through SchoolCash Online by following the link below.

Homestay Families Needed

Each year, the North Vancouver School District welcomes students from around the world to live and study in our vibrant community in the International Program. We strive to place secondary school international students with families who live close to school to support each student's integration into the school and wider community.
We have secondary school international students in need of a homestay placement for the school terms beginning February and September 2026, and February 2027. If you are interested in hosting an international student, please reach out to the International Education program office at international@sd44.ca.

The Argyle Grade 8 and 9 cast is thrilled to present Romeo, You Idiot! by Tim Kochenderfer , a laugh-out-loud, spoof of Shakespeare’s original tragedy. In this fast-paced comedy, nothing can come between Romeo and Juliet, not bitter rivalries, not itchy poison ivy, and not even the wooing of an alleged vampire! This is Shakespeare like you’ve never seen it before, with non-stop laughs and outrageous twists from start to finish.

An information session for Grade 5 students and their families interested in learning about the Late French Immersion (LFI) program (entry into the LFI program in Grade 6 in September 2026) will be held on the 5th Floor (Mountainview Room) at the Education Services Centre on 2121 Lonsdale Avenue on January 28, 2026 from 6-7 p.m.
While optional, you are encouraged to RSVP to attend the information session.

Students and families in Grades 8, 9 and 10 from across the district are invited to attend an information session to learn about the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme offered at Carson Graham in Grades 11 and 12. The session will take place in the Carson Graham Library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 29.

Students with an interest in the skilled trades, culinary arts, health care and early childhood education are encouraged to attend.
