The grade 12 year is an important and busy year. It is vital that parents and students keep themselves informed about important dates and requirements that may impact the final year at Argyle.
Planning 12 on the Portal
Students can log in to the portal through the School District website (https://www.sd44.ca/Pages/default.aspx) and search the Planning 12 class with Mr. Ruben. Convocation Ceremony Rehearsal and Gown Pick-up
The rehearsal for the Grade 12 Convocation Ceremony will take place in the large gym. Attendance is compulsory for all participants! Students will learn and practice the organization protocols for the ceremony.
Grad gown order forms will be given out and collected in TP12 classes. Forms will also be in the counselling centre at that time. Students must hand in their forms to Ms. Excell in the counselling centre. The 2019 cost of grad gowns was $7 as this cost was only partly covered by the grad fee. The $7 grad gown fee will be paid through school cash online.
All students participating in the Convocation Ceremony will need to pick up their grad gowns and wear them to the Convocation; the gown is their ticket into the event. The handout date will be announced. Students can not skip class in order to collect a gown. All outstanding school fees must be paid before gowns are given to students. If you send a friend to get your gown, send a note with them letting us know that is what you want. Check your school cash online account to pay school fees. Students who do not order a gown cannot participate in this event.
