School Sponsored Grad EventsSafety is of paramount importance during school sponsored events. Therefore, all school sponsored grad events are drug free (no alcohol, narcotics, vapour products or tobacco). We request the cooperation of grads and parents in making certain none are consumed before or during these events. Any parent or grad doing so will be required to leave an event, will not be allowed to enter an event and no refund will be given.
Grad Girls Dinner and Dance
Wednesday, November 21st, Italian Cultural Centre, 3075 Slocan Street, Vancouver
Doors open at 6:30, dinner and dancing from 7:00 - 10:30
Tickets are $78 per person and are paid through
School Cash Online. Ticket sales end November 16th.
Join the grad girls for an evening of dinner and dancing! Dads or another significant adult in the lives of our grad girls are welcome to attend. Complimentary photographs will be taken that evening and will be loaded on the Argyle network a few weeks after the event. There will be a Photo Booth and props at the event, a speech by the grad guys, a graffiti wall as well as dinner and dancing. Please respect that this is a dry event and can not allow in and out privileges. Tables seat 10 and there is no assigned seating. Grads need to bring their receipt to Mr. Ruben at lunch time to pick up their tickets. Once tickets have been picked up no refund may be possible.

Convocation CeremonySaturday June 8, 2019, 11:00 am
Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Grads will need to be at the venue one hour before the ceremony begins. Grads must arrive wearing their gown as the gown is their ticket into the event. Guests and grads will enter through the Hamilton Street entrance. The entrance doors will open one hour before the ceremony. Tickets for the event will go on sale online from May 1 - 31, 2019 and will be $15 each. (Grads must pay their gown rental fee in lieu of a ticket.) There will be no restrictions on ticket sales. Tickets will be sold online through
School Cash Online. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. LATECOMERS WILL NOT BE SEATED UNTIL THERE IS A BREAK IN THE PROGRAM. If you have guests that need special seating please contact Mr. Ruben.
- Program: Welcome from MC., Oh Canada, Governor General Award, introductory remarks by the Principal, presentation of scholarships, presentation of graduates, performance(s) by grads, presentation to winners of major awards, Valedictorian address, recessional.
- Formal Atmosphere: Grads and the audience should dress and conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to the formality of the occasion. The ceremony can take more than three hours.
- Photography: Photographs of each grad will be taken on and off stage by Mountain West Studios. Do not approach the stage or block the aisles to take photographs.
- Return gowns at the venue IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE CEREMONY: any photographs with the gowns must be taken before arriving at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Grads must arrive at 10 a.m., immediately come inside the lobby and begin to line up in the assigned places for the processional.

Tickets will go on sale online through
school cash online from May 1 - 31, 2019. Tickets are $145 per ticket (grads must purchase a ticket as well). There are no restrictions on ticket sales. Tables are set for 10 and must be chosen after tickets are purchased. Seats will not be added to any tables and incomplete tables will be collapsed at the discretion of the planning committee. Guests must bring their online receipt to the counselling centre and choose their seats and tables from May 1 - 31 during break times in the school day. It is best to pick seats as soon as tickets are purchased and to organize seating with friends and family before tickets are purchased. Then send one person with all the receipts to choose seats for the entire group. Once seats are chosen it may not be possible to change them.
We ask that guests be at their tables at 7:00 and grads gathered next to the ice sculpture for a photograph. The photo will be taken by Mountain West Studios and emailed to all grad families.
The start of the formal program includes performances by grads, speeches, dinner, photo booth, graffiti wall, and dancing.
All guests will have to clear security before entering the event. Once guests leave the security zone for the event they can't return - there are no in and out privileges given. No tickets will be sold at the door. The program begins at 7. Guests who have not cleared security before 7 will be held outside at security until the grad photograph is taken and tables are being called for dinner.
