Winter is finally here!

There are so many wonderful things to do in the snow - make snow angels, build snow forts and build snow people! It is a time when we can go outside with our friends and family and play, play, play!

Then we it's inside for snuggling up with hot chocolate, cookies and a good book. Do you have any favourite books that you like to read when it snows?

February is Love Our Library Month!

This month we are having a Library Challenge!

All classes that bring back all their overdue library books during the month of February will win either a Popcorn Party or a Hot Chocolate Party.

Mr Mawson's and Ms Blaker's classes have returned all their overdue books and will be celebrating with a Hot Chocolate and Popcorn Party! There is one more week remaining in the challenge and all classes still have the opportunity to celebrate with a Popcorn or Hot Chocolate party. Ms Baltruschat's, Ms Slykerman's and Ms Shives' classes will also be celebrating with a party!

February 1st is

World Read Aloud Day!

Upper Lynn celebrated World Read Aloud with teachers and guests reading aloud to our students. Officer Jas, Upper Lynn's RCMP liasion officer, was one of our guest readers. Students went with their buddies to listen to three different readers to hear different stories. Everyone had a great time listening to and reading stories.
