Labour Day is a day to celebrate the accomplishments of the labour movement and the benefits of having a union at work. It is observed annually on the first Monday of September and is a statutory holiday in British Columbia.
The Elementary Band & Strings Program is a unique instrumental music program that is distinctive to the NVSD. The program complements the BC Ministry of Educationās Arts Education curriculum and provides school-based instrumental instruction to students in the intermediate grades (Grades 5 ā 7 for Band and Grades 4 ā 7 for Strings).
