The Gordon Smith Gallery releases five limited edition prints in inaugural Artists for Kids’ “2024 Fall Portfolio” launch.
The fall portfolio include works by artists Samuel Roy-Bois, Anna Binta Diallo, Sara Khan and Sandeep Johal.

We chose this important goal because early learning experiences establish the learning foundation for all learning K - 12. National Indigenous Peoples Day June 21

Carisbrooke honours the many contributions of Métis, First Nations, and Inuit people with a display, created by staff member, Carla Matilpi. We welcome you to come by and learn about artists Bill Reid and Robert Davidson, politician Murray Sinclair, actors Tantoo Cardinal and Chief Dan George, and BC's First Nations First Lady, Amelia Douglas. We hope students will learn to appreciate how much these individuals ( and many more) enrich the lives of all Canadians.

Argyle Secondary School (1131 Frederick Road) District Calendar

The Digital Media Youth Expo is an annual event hosted by the school district’s Digital Media Academy (DMA). Students, families, staff and community members will meet representatives from many Lower Mainland post-secondary institutions, local and global organizations, industry experts and studios involved in all aspects of digital media. Representatives from visual effects, animation, film, sound, web design, game design and DMA students will be in attendance to answer industry, education and career-related questions; DMA students will also showcase the projects they are working on.
The Expo takes place on Saturday, December 7, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., and is free to attend. More information is available on the Digital Media Youth Expo website.
