Mission Statement 

The Sabre Council at Sutherland strives to provide an unforgettable experience for students. We focus on building school spirit, and making school an enjoyable place to be. We also want to connect our school with the greater community by engaging in and planning events for all to enjoy. We value building relationships between different grades and hope that students can find opportunities to give back and meet new people. We look forward to supporting the students of Sutherland Secondary.

Elections for Student Council take place yearly in May-June for grades 9-11 and will start in the following September. Grade 8 interviews are held in September-October. General members are welcome to join any time. Message Ms. Dhanji if you have an interest in joining the general member teams group.
