​Eid al-Adha is a religious observance celebrated in the Islamic faith. It means "feast of the sacrifice," is celebrated just over two months after Eid al-Fitr, and lasts for four days. The date for Eid al-Ahda changes every year.

​Red Shirt Day, observed annually on the Wednesday during National AccessAbility Week, is a day when people wear red to show their support for people and families of those who are living with disabilities, celebrate the achievements of disabled Canadians, and pledge their commitment to help create a fully accessible and inclusive society. It was started in 2019 as an Easter Seals initiative.

National AccessAbility Week, established in 2017, is observed annually starting the last Sunday of May (to the following Saturday). The week promotes creating an accessible and inclusive Canada.
