Queen Mary Community Elementary School offers the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).


The IB PYP is for students aged 3-12 and prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around them.     The North Vancouver School District welcomes 3 - 5 year-olds with their parents, guardians, childcare providers, or early childhood educators to Ready, Set, Learn – a free early learning event funded by the BC Ministry of Education.

    The theme for 2026 is Learn, Play, Explore​. The event will involve a variety of stations focused on learning through literacy and play that align with the Ministry of Education and Child Care's BC Early Learning Framework.
