All IBO programmes help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills for students to live, learn, and work in a rapidly globalizing world. After completing Grade 7, students from Queen Mary can advance to the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) at
Carson Graham Secondary School. They also have the opportunity of applying to the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11 and 12) at
Carson Graham Secondary.
About the Primary Years Programme
The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a transdisciplinary, inquiry based framework for curriculum and instruction that encourages international mindedness and fosters life-long learning. It is designed to incorporate the provincial curriculum through six globally significant themes, via “Units of Inquiry” that teachers create to allow for in-depth investigations into
