Chanie Wenjack ran away from his residential school to try and find his way home.  A home that was 644 kilometres away.  All he had with him was a jar with 7 matches.  Chanie never made it home.  At 12 years old, he died trying to see his family again.

Carisbrooke students were asked, "What would you take on a journey?"

Courage, Honesty, Humility, Love, Respect, Truth, Wisdom
