Artists for Kids and the North Vancouver School District continue to partner in providing a wonderful opportunity to showcase your school's most outstanding young artists. Selected students will be celebrated on the AFK website and AFK and North Vancouver School District social media channels. The feature includes a short biography and a photo of the student that showcases their artistic talents. This year, the program will be expanded to include visual arts, music, dance and drama.
The Young Artist of the Week program provides valuable recognition to our student artists and raises public awareness of the importance of arts education in our schools.
Overview:
1. Each school may nominate one or two students
2. Have both the student's teacher and parent complete the appropriate sections of the attached nomination form.
3. Submit the teacher nomination form and student model release form to cpinard@sd44.ca.
