Artists for Kids
After School Art

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Artists for Kids offers After School Art classes for students each Fall, Winter and Spring term. Led by BC certified art specialist teachers and assisted by secondary art students, our classes provide the opportunity to build skills and foster creative growth within the visual arts. Students will have the opportunity to expand their artistic abilities in a multitude of different mediums, including painting, felting, printmaking, and sculpting. Classes vary in duration, price, and medium.  All art materials are included in the price of the program. See below for info and to register!​​

IMPORTANT NOTE: Artists for Kids does not provide supervision before class start times. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision of their child from the end of the school day until the start of the After School Art class.

​Print It Out! – After-School Art Club

​Calling all young artists in Grades 4–7! Join us for 8 exciting weeks of hands-on creativity as we explore the world of printmaking and image transfer techniques. From custom stamps and monoprints to image transfer, students will experiment with a variety of fun and accessible methods to create bold, beautiful artwork. Each session includes time to explore, create, and share. No experience needed—just imagination!

​Pop Goes the World!

​In this course, students will dive into the world of Pop Art and explore its major icons, themes, and techniques. Inspired by artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, students will create eye-catching pieces that reflect the movement’s focus on popular culture and mass media. A variety of mixed media will be used to bring the spirit of Pop Art to life.
