Visual artist Anna Binta Diallo
joined AFK as artist-in-residence this fall. We are sharing a recorded artist talk and a series of 3 art activity
videos led by the artist. These videos provide an introduction to Anna Binta Diallo’s creative process and feature collage-based art activities that can be carried out in the classroom or at home.
For teachers: We've created an overview of the activities and materials included in the videos below as well as links to the BC Art Curriculum.

Student Exhibition at ESC
Teachers are invited to submit Illustrator files of student art by February 25th, 2021 in order to have them printed and included in an exhibition at the Education Services Centre. A second round of submissions will be accepted by May 19th, 2021.
For planning purposes, we ask that teachers please inform the AFK Office if you plan to complete the project with your classes so that we can anticipate the number of student works that will be included in the exhibition.
