French Immersion

Overview

French Immersion at the North Vancouver School District (NVSD) is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 program. As a parent or guardian, you are making the decision to support your child through both the elementary and secondary school programs.

French Immersion has no specific catchment areas. The program is reviewed regularly to provide equity of access for all children and maintain a balanced enrolment across the school district. French Immersion school locations and the overall program configuration may change over time due to the complex nature of fluctuations in enrolment and other factors.

Elementary French Immersion is offered at Braemar, Cleveland, Dorothy Lynas, Larson, Ross Road and Sherwood Park. Secondary French Immersion is offered at Argyle, Handsworth, and Windsor.

For more information on the French Immersion program, please visit the French Immersion web page.
