​Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programmes of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.

Three IB Programmes

The North Vancouver School District offers the full IB continuum; three IB programs spanning from kindergarten to grade 12. The programs can be offered individually or as a continuum:


IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
For grades K - 7

IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
For grades 8 - 10
