​The BC Ministry of Education has announced changes to the Graduation Program and Provincial Assessments.

During the 2015/16 school year, the Ministry of Education introduced draft new curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade 9.  The new curriculum will be fully implemented in September 2016. 

The new curriculum for Grades 10 to 12 is now being introduced.  For the 2016/17 school year, teachers have the option to use the draft 10 to 12 curriculum in their classrooms.  At the same time, the Ministry of Education is updating the Graduation Program and provincial assessments.  These changes will be implemented between 2016 and 2018. 

By 2017/18, the entire Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum will be used throughout the province.
