The upcoming Education Programs Committee meeting is focused on sharing the outcomes of some key educational initiatives. We will have an overview of Aboriginal Education: Where are we?, Celebrating & Supporting Student Diversity: Inclusive Education Highlights 2016/2017, Technology in our Classrooms: Capacity Building for a Modernized Curriculum, Curriculum Hub development and Environmental and Cultural Learning at Cheakamus Centre: Building Connections, Engagement and Resilience. Each of these areas of focus are part of our district educational plan in support of Enhancing Student Learning and Engagement. All parents and members of the community are encouraged to attend.
