​We have just received notification that 11 year old Brooksbank student Nikayla Allen has been shortlisted for a Canadian Living Me to We Award in the Free the Children Youth category. Nikayla is one of only three in Canada, the youngest in her category and the only candidate from B.C. The Canadian Living Me to We Awards all about shining the spotlight on Canadians who are making a difference in their communities, at home and abroad. The winnder for Nikayla's categaory will receive a $1,000 donation to the registered Canadian charity of their choice. The winner in this category will also win a Me to We Volunteer trip.
