Dr. Martin Davidson specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, as well as behavioral concerns (such as conduct problems), in children and adolescents. Martin has a range of clinical experience in individual, group, and family therapy modalities and has been trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques known to be effective in helping young people who are experiencing emotional distress due to a variety of issues, including depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, family conflict, relationship difficulties, specific phobias, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Martin also has experience working with youth who self-harm and experience suicidal ideation as well as those with social difficulties, such as bullying and isolation. While he focuses on the treatment of young people, Martin also places an emphasis on working with parents to help them better understand what their child is going through, to find ways for parents to better support their child, and to improve attachment relationships within families.
