The Integrated Studies Program is the Project Based Learning class at Mountainside Secondary.  The vision of the class is to co-construct a cross curricular project that begins with student interest and passion, focuses on the journey, emphasizes metacognition, and culminates with a presentation of the project.  Our main goals are building self-awareness, empowerment, a sense of community, and providing opportunities for students to find their voice.  Students receive credit in the courses for which their project applies.  Our class is incredibly diverse with projects including a garden business, an anxiety workbook, fashion magazine, cultural tattoo journey, biology animation, original album and many more.
