Argyle
Secondary Student, Zahra Ali Vink, Grade 9, (pictured right) recently
created a video entry for the Khan Academy Junior Breakthrough
Challenge, which focuses on math and science.
With the help of fellow Argyle student, Sammi Bradford Niemi, Grade 11, who is enrolled in the Digital Media Academy program, the two collaborated their efforts to create the video entry, all while inspiring the Argyle community.

About the Challenge
In
partnership with The Khan Academy, The Junior Breakthrough Challenge is
an annual global competition for students to inspire creative thinking
about science and mathematics.
Students ages 13 to 18 from
countries across the globe are invited to create and submit original
videos (five minutes in length maximum) that bring to life a concept or
theory in the life sciences, physics or mathematics. The submissions are
judged on the student's ability to communicate complex ideas in
engaging, illuminating, and imaginative ways.
Be sure to check the Breakthrough Junior Challenge website on October 23, to see which videos make it to the Popular Vote and cast your vote for your favorite video.
Best of luck, Zahra!
