The French immersion breakfast, on June 16th, was a success thanks to the CPF for their financial support, in particular, to the dedication of Lisa Birrell and Serge Daoust for their active participation at this yearly event. Abundant tasty food was enjoyed by staff and students in a festive atmosphere with numerous door prizes (a total value of $1,250, with the generous donations from Shoppers Drug Mart at Capilano Square and Real Canadian Superstore in North Vancouver) provided some excitement!

Some students from Ross Road were able to join the Argyle French immersion crowd in the cafeteria to celebrate in honor of the grade 12's who received their "Certificat d'accomplissement". Their achievement is the result of many years of exposure to the language which will give them many added opportunities in the future. The video (see below) on the topic of opportunities, featuring Maryse Bernard, an Argyle graduate, was viewed during the breakfast.
