At this meeting parents/guardians will learn about:
- The rationale for moving from use of letter grades and scores to providing meaningful feedback
- How an emphasis on common language and grade-less assessment aligns with "best practice", the IB philosophy and connects to assessment in the MYP
- The assessment language and feedback strategies being used
- How student learning will be communicated on the report cards
- Time for parent/guardian questions and small group discussion will be provided.
- Queen Mary Elementary Gym, Wednesday November 4th, 2015, 7:00-8:00 pm
