Field trip to Kidsbooks! Do you have your permission form in?
December 12th—As part of author Dav Pilkey's visit, he not only gifted our students with a signed copy of Dogman, he also offered our students an opportunity to shop at Kidsbooks for their own book. He will be paying for it. Oh, and students will be bussed there— and that is being sponsored by Scholastic.

Coming in January: You are invited!
At 6pm, prior to our PAC meeting January 6th, 2017, we have invited the Restorative Justice Team to introduce us to the Circles in Schools Program that our Grade 6 and 7's are using. The Restorative Justice Team will lead us in a dialogue about our community and school in the same way they work with our students.
"North Shore Restorative Justice Society provides group activities and facilitated dialogues that promote and develop strong communication and conflict resolution skills, social responsibility, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness. In building capacity for restorative principles and practices, we envision a more inclusive, cohesive, and healthy school environment."
