Students in Grades 9 - 12 to register for the 2016 Vancouver Brain Bee on Sat, April
23rd. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about the brain,
come to UBC, and see what it's like to work or study here.
In addition, to the exam, we
have some great events lined up for the afternoon - they'll get to talk to a
panel of undergraduate students, graduate students, and medical residence about
their experiences in science, see a functioning molecular neuroscience lab, and
even get a human neuroanatomy demo! Consider trying to fit in a class about the
brain, and making it a science class field trip!
As extra incentive, we pay for
the winning student and a parent to fly to Hamilton, ON to represent Vancouver
in the National Brain Bee!
