Registration for the 2025 AP Examination Period is CLOSED.​

May 2025 all registered exam-only students will write their exams at the scheduled time at Handsworth Secondary School, 1033 Handsworth Rd, North Vancouver (604) 903-3600. 

Important information for students writing AP Exams:

• Students must arrive 30 minutes before their exam is scheduled.
  
• Latecomers will not be permitted to enter.
  
  
• We will be providing laptops for all digital and hybrid exams. If you were planning on using your own device, please contact me for more information on why this isn’t an option.
  
•  No electronic devices are permitted inside the exam area except for approved calculators.
  

• Please bring a government-issued photo ID to the exam (e.g. Driver's License, Passport, Certificate of Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident Card). This ID MUST match the name you registered on the AP website with.
• Students will not be permitted to write the exam without a photo ID.
• ​Students currently enrolled at Handsworth may present their school photo ID card.
  
  

• Only the registered student is allowed inside the school. There will be signs, and helpers on-site to make sure they get to where they need to be.
• Please drop them at the main door on Handsworth Rd, and they can contact when they are finished.

• ​Family Members/Friends are NOT permitted to s​tay inside the school to wait for their student.
  

Important reminders:

• No electronic devices are permitted at your desk area except for approved calculators.  
• You are permitted a snack and beverage at your desk.
• All backpacks, purses, lunch bags, and pencil cases will be in allowed in a secure area in the room, but not at your desk.
• Note that you will not be granted access if you arrive after the exam has begun.

***Changes are coming for the May 2025 Exam administration.  All AP exams are going to be digital based.***

Please note that the exam payment is non-refundable under any circumstances after Nov 15th.  Therefore, students must be sure they are committed to preparing to write the exam(s) in May.

It is the student's responsibility to keep updated with AP announcements and directions.  Therefore, it is essential to provide an accurate email address for communication purposes.

FAQ:

How do I pay?

Once registered, you will be sent an email stating that you can pay through School Cas​h Online.

When will I receive the JOIN CODE after registration?

Usually, you will receive the join code within 2 business days after payment and registration submission. You must join as soon as possible after receiving this to ensure your exam is ordered.

If I decide not to take the exam after registering, what should I do?

You can notify us by sending an email to sloveng@sd44.ca . If cancelled before Nov 15^th you will receive a refund, less the $75 cancellation fee.

Do I need to register again if I am already enrolled in the AP Course at Handsworth?

No. You only need to register for any self-study exams you plan to take. You will be given a separate join code for every exam but will use the AP account you already have.​
