Tickets will be on sale online through School Cash Online from May 15th to June 2nd.  The ticket price will be $150 per ticket (this includes grads).  There will be no restrictions on the quantity of ticket sales, and they are non-refundable.

Banquet table arrangements are organized by the Grad Committee and here is the step-by-step process:

1)  Families purchase tickets online. Graduates are allowed to invite 'plus ones,' so there is no limit as to how many tickets each family purchases.

2)  Graduates and family members decide who they will sit with. Tables each seat 8-10 guests. Groups smaller than this amount will be merged thoughtfully.

3) The graduate will then fill out a form with the first and last name of each person for whom a ticket was purchased for on their receipt. (*see attached form).

4) Seating with friends and family should be organized before coming in to pick up tickets. Graduates are encouraged to sit with their families.

5)  Students must bring their printed receipt as well as the attached form to the area outside counselling to choose their seats and tables during tutorial starting Monday, June 5th through to Friday, June 9th. Students must come with any peers they wish to sit with to select their tables and pick up their tickets. 

6)  Tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and require the submission of a paper receipt and a completed form. ​

On the day of the event, we ask that graduates gather in the lobby at 6:30pm for a photograph and that all guests be at their tables at 7:00 pm.  The formal program includes speeches, dinner, and dancing.  Please note that this is a dry event and that there is no alcohol permitted prior to arrival or during this event for all guests. Additionally, there are no in and out privileges or refunds for those not granted entry or asked to leave due to alcohol or substance use. Given that the Banquet is a school event, all Carson Graham Code of Conduct expectations apply. No tickets will be sold at the door. 

 Dinner will be a buffet with gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free options. If any guests have a severe food allergy, please email Suzette Dohm so she can forward the information to the Bayshore.​

GRAD CEREMONY 2023

601 Smithe Street, Vancouver

Grads will need to be at the venue one hour before the ceremony begins wearing their gown as the gown is their ticket into the event. Grads will enter through the Granville Street entrance.

Guests will enter through the Smithe Street entrance. The entrance doors will open 30 minutes before the ceremony.  Tickets for the event for all guests will go on sale online from May 15th to June 10th.  Tickets will be $10 each and can be purchased on School Cash Online.  There will be no restrictions on the number of tickets sold.  Students need to bring their online receipt to the area outside counselling at lunch June 13th and June 14th to pick up a hard copy of tickets for the ceremony. ​

For the ceremony, tickets will be sold at the door for $15 (cash only). If you have guests that need seating accommodations, please contact Suzette Dohm at sdohm@sd44.ca.

 Please note that for those families whose student accounts are not in good standing, graduates will be unable to pick up tickets. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have to Jennifer Harman.​

Ceremony Form: Last Words and Baby Photo

The grad ceremony is soon approaching and we will need a few things to prepare for the ceremony. Please visit this link to fill out the form: https://forms.office.com/r/xWq9FuZPeP (students need to be logged in through school/district account to access).

The following will be submitted in the form:

·       Last words: what will be read aloud as the graduate crosses the stage

·       A baby photo. It is a Carson tradition to include your baby photo as part of the grad ceremony. This is separate from the baby photo you may have submitted to yearbook. Please have one ready to upload or send it to me directly through Teams.​

This form is due on June 9th but please submit as soon as possible! See Mr. Kwan with any questions.​
